SHARJAH: Peshawar Zalmi on Thursday defeated Karachi Kings by three runs in the 11th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Peshawar Zalmi on Thursday set Karachi Kings 183 runs target in the PSL but the kings could score 179 runs in the match.
Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bat first. The team scored 182 runs on four wickets. Opener Mohammad Hafeez scored 59 runs, Tamim Iqbal 37, Kamran Akmal 30 and DJ Malan made 12 runs in the match. While Shahid Afridi scored 17 runs and remained not out.
Karachi kings’ JM Vince scored 44 runs, RS Bopara 67 runs, Shoaib Malik eight runs and LMP Simmons made nine runs in the match.
