SHARJAH: Quetta Gladiators managed to make target of 130 runs against Peshawar Zalmi despite failure of opening and middle order batting line-up at Sharjah ground.
Elliott was top scorer who lifted his team to a reasonable target with his individual 40 runs. Zulfiqar Babar also built last wicket partnership with Elliott after scoring his individual 20 runs.
Shahid Afridi grabbed five wickets off only seven runs in four overs while aggressive Wahab Riaz took two wickets in the match. Junaid Khan and Mohammad Asghar grabbed one wicket each.
Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bat first against Peshawar Zalmi during 17th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) being played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium today.
