Protests erupt in IHK against operation launched by troops

Forceful demonstrations erupted in Pulwama district, Indian Held Kashmir (IHK), on Saturday, soon after Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation (CASO).

People took to the streets in Monghama area of the Pulwama district after the troops started the operation, KMS reported.

Indian forces’ personnel fired teargas shells to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes between the demonstrators and the troops.

On the other hand, Indian police have arrested eighteen youth on the false charges of attacking three soldiers of Indian Territorial Army in Sheeri area of Baramulla on October 18.
