Prolonged absentees: Tribesmen demand action against DKH School headmaster

LANDIKOTAL: The tribesmen expressing grave concern over prolonged absentees of the headmaster of Dorma Kor High School Loey Shalman, Landikotal and demanded the authorities concerned for strict action against him.

A teacher in Dorma Kor High School on the condition of anonymity told INP news agency that clerical staff, several teachers and headmaster mostly remain absent from their duties.

He said that student’s precious time has been wasted as headmaster Hastam Khan was not performing duty regularly and taking advantage of the situation sub-ordinate staff also take least interest to their assigned duties. He said many of the school’s matters were pending for the headmaster to get it resolved. He said all the school’s attendance books and other documents had been locked by the headmasters’ in his cupboard.

Parents in Loey Shalman have demanded of the Director Education, Political Agent of Khyber Agency and Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Iqbal Zafar Jhagra to take notice of the situation, initiating inquiry and strict action against those involved in negligence towards duty. —INP
