KARACHI: A conflict has been started between Private School Management Association (PSMA) and Sindh government over resuming educational sessions after ending summer vacations.

PSMA aimed to re-open schools across the province on August 3 going contrary to the decision of Sindh government that had announced extension in summer vacations up to August 11 citing flood dangers.

President PSMA Khalid Shah said that they have rejected announcement of the provincial government to close schools till August 11. He said that depriving children from education in safe areas from floods is unnecessary. He added that schools would be reopened on August 3 even if they faced cases after registration of First Investigation Reports (FIRs) against the school management.
