ISLAMABAD: Justice (R) Saeed-Uz-Zaman Siddiqui appointed as new Sindh governor replacing Governor Ishratil Ibad, according to sources.
Sources claimed that the decision has been made during a meeting held between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain on Wednesday morning.
It is believed that the former chief justice of Pakistan has a soft corner for PML-N, which fielded him as its presidential candidate in 2008.
Recently, former Karachi mayor and Pak Sarzameen Party chief Mustafa Kamal levelled corruption charges against Dr Ishratul Ebad.
