ISLAMABAD: The Hajj operation of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) will begin from today (Sunday) as the first flight of the airline will fly from Lahore to Madina Munawwra.
According to the Pre-Hajj Flights Operation Schedule issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, the first flight will carry 360 intending pilgrims of the government scheme to the holy land. The operation will be concluded on September 17.
As many as 71,684 pilgrims will perform the religious obligation this year under the government scheme and the same number under the private scheme.
