ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office (FO) has strongly condemned the India’s newly-appointed army general’s statement in which he had threatened to carry out pre-emptive strikes inside the Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a weekly briefing here on Thursday, FO spokesperson Aisha Farooqui termed the Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane’s remarks as irresponsible.
She said that there should be no doubt in anyone’s mind about Islamabad’s readiness and firm resolve to foil Indian aggression in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
