Senior Pakistan People’s Party leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim passed away at the age of 76 at a local hospital in Karachi in Saturday’s wee hours.
A leader of Sarwari Jamaat Bachal Mughal confirmed his death.
Amin Fahim was suffering from blood cancer. He fought his disease at a London hospital, where doctors declared him terminally ill.
On this, the spiritual figure of the Sarwari Jama’at wished to pass the last days of his life in homeland. Accordingly, he was shifted to a hospital in Karachi on October 26.
He was currently working as senior vice-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party.
According to sources, Makhdoom Amin Fahim’s body will be brought to Hala where he will be buried near the grave of Makhdoom Talib-ul-Maula.
