Pakistan Peoples Party has shortlisted three possible names for the office of Punjab governor.
Sources said that the names of Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Nadeem Afzal Chan are being considered for the slot of Punjab governor.
They further said that Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood is in good position for the governor office run
Earlier, all the matters concerning formation of government had been settled between the Pakistan Muslim League-N and the People’s Party.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while holding a press conference with Shahbaz Sharif and Asif Zardari in Islamabad, said that the Pakistan People’s Party and the PML-N have completed their numbers for forming the government. He said that Shehbaz Sharif will be a joint candidate for premiership while Asif Ali Zardari for president.
