KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader and nominated candidate for PS-114 Zahoor Ahmed Jadoon has said that those elected from the constituency have badly failed and disappointed their voters.
He expressed these views while addressing a family event held to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitar at a local lawn.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that both Pakistan People Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) remained in power and their representatives received all perks and benefits but they failed to deliver.
He urged masses to show the selfish politicians door on July 9th. Such politicians who received votes but avoided masses after assuming their offices should be dealt accordingly. He said that people are well aware of the crimes and misdeeds of both the PPP and MQM.
Jadoon further said that PPP has been enjoying totalitarian powers in the province but they did nothing positive and now they are again seeking votes from PS-114. He said that the development works launched in the constituency amid by-election campaign are nothing but cosmetic measures to make people fool once again.
The JI leader urged masses to support his party which is true representative of masses as the JI served people even when it was not in power. Besides this, he added, the party always raise voice for the rights of people. He said that the JI’s continued campaign against KE and corruption are evident on the fact.
