RAWALPINDI: Pakistan People’s Party on Monday filed three petitions against  the verdict of the anti-terrorism court in the Benazir Bhutto case.

The appeals have been filed on behalf of PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

The petitions have challenged the ATC Rawalpindi verdict in which the court acquitted five Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan suspects and announced 7-year imprisonment for two police officials.

The court had also declared Gen (Retd) Pervez Musharraf an absconder in the case.
