ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has cancelled its public meeting in Faisalabad which was scheduled to be held on September 30.
The PPP leader and opposition leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah, in a TV interview said that September 30 public meeting in Faisalabad was cancelled in the wake of Raiwind march announced by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on the same date. Syed Khursheed Shah further said that the PPP has now decided to hold public meeting in Faisalabad after Muharram-ul-Haram.
The PTI chief Imran Khan has announced to hold Raiwind march on September 30. —INP
