IZMIR: A powerful earthquake of 6.6 magnitude hit Turkey on Friday, killing at least 25 and injuring over 800.
According to reports, 6.6 magnitude of earthquake hit Izmir, Aydin and other provinces. The tremors were also felt in Greece.

The epicentre of the tremors was in Aegian sea at a depth of 16.5 kilometers.

Several buildings have been collapsed in Izmir. People came out of their homes as the tremors rocked Izmir.
