KARACHI: Director General Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar has said in Sindh Apex Committee that political parties and local administration are involved in crime and land grabbing in the metropolis.
DG Rangers had told the Apex Committee meeting that the Karachi based largest political party patronage crimes and land grabbing in the metropolis Karachi. He continued that the “Fitra” and exhortation money spent on weapons purchasing. Most of the crimes were sponsored by the Karachi based largest political party.
Bilal said that districts administrations and police personnel were also involved in land grabbing. He said Lyari gang war also involved in land grabbing and extortion and the money was distributed among gangs and some powerful personalities of Sindh.
