The body of a policeman, who was reportedly on Thursday evening from his home, was found in Kulgam district of occupied Kashmir.
The policeman identified as Javaid Ahmed Dar, who was reportedly abducted on Thursday evening from his home in Vehil area of Shopian district, was found dead at Pariwan in Kulgam district.
Meanwhile, unidentified gunmen shot at and critically injured a cleric, Molvi Muhammad Ashraf Thoker, in Pulwama district.
Molvi Muhammad Ashraf Thoker, the Imam of a mosque at Parigam in the district was rushed to local hospital from where he was referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment. His condition is stated to be critical.
