Karachi: Police introduce a new service to protect citizens from robbers and looters in Karachi.
According to a local TV, under the new service being introduced in Karachi’s industrial zone, citizens have been asked to report to the police before withdrawing large sums of money from banks and they will be given full protection.
Karachi’s industrial zone has more than 4,500 small and large factories, more than 60 banks and more than 25 petrol pumps.
In this regard, the police officials say that the incidents of robberies were increasing in the period between the 1st and 10th of every month and in view of this it has been decided to introduce a new service.
They said that the new service is being introduced that if any citizen has to withdraw huge amount of money from the bank, he should report it on phone call to police after which within four to five minutes they would arriveel at the given spot to ensure the safety of the citizen.
