KARACHI: At least six people including a police sub-inspector have been killed and two others wounded in separate firing and violence incidents during the last 24 hours in different areas of Karachi.
A man, sheikh Nazeer, was gunned down in North Nazimabad near UP Morr. The deceased was a manager in National Bank. He was on his way back home from office when he was targeted killed.
Another gunattack near Abdullah College in Nazimabad killead a man, Ali Imran.
Ali Imran was a police inspector at Manghopir police station. Ali was going home after office when he was targeted killed.
Meantime, two others were shot to death in two different incidents in Pirabad and Ayesha Manzil. Besides, body of a woman was recovered from Hassan Square.
A firing incident occurred in Lyari where a man Badal Shah was assassinated.
Meanwhile, the Rangers paramilitary force claimed to have rounded up several suspicious people besides arresting nine suspects in separate raids conducted in Muslim Colony, Kausar Colony and Godhra neighbourhoods.
