SHIKARPUR: Three dacoits were killed on two police encounters in Shikarpur and Kandhkot early on Wednesday.
The first incident took place in Shikarpur where dacoits were busy holding up three people trying to abduct them along with their car in the limit of Kot Shahu police station.
The robbers opened gunfire at police as personnel arrived at the site. In retaliation by police, notorious dacoit of Sindh, Khanu Mir Bahr was killed along with his accessory.
Another police encounter took place in Kandhkot area of Karampur. A dacoit was killed and two others were arrested in wounded state during the encounter
