PESHAWAR: A police head constable was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Monday in the jurisdiction of Yakatoot police station in Peshawar.
“Head constable Mirza was fired at while he was on his way to the police line,” an official from the Yaaktoot police station said.
As per initial investigations, the assailants fired at him from a motorcycle.
Soon after the incident heavy contingents of police cordoned off the area and started a search operation to arrest the accused. However, no arrests have been made so far.
