PESHAWAR: The City police have arrested 73 suspected person including Afghan nationals and wanted persons during search operation carried out in different areas of Peshawar here on Saturday, an official of the police control confirmed.
He disclosed that the search operations were made in the interior city wherein arrested 73 suspected persons during raids from area comprising Bhana Marri, Yakatoot, Nasir Bagh and others, while arms were also recovered from the suspected persons.
The police said that the arrested persons also included illegal residents while police has transferred the arrested persons to respective police stations for further interrogation.
The police have also recovered a Kalashnikov, three pistols and hundreds of bullets from the position of the suspected persons.
