RAWALPINDI: Police under its ongoing drive against anti-social elements have arrested 13 outlaw including four renting rules violators besides recovering narcotics and weapons from their custody.
The police recovered 2890 grams marijuana, 29 liter wine, 300 bottles of liquor and one rifle 12 bore with three rounds from the possession of the accused, a police spokesman said on Sunday.
He said, Pirwadhai police held Chan Waiz for having 1235 grams marijuana while over 1200 grams marijuana was recovered from Mubashir Khan.
Muhammad Ashraf was sent behind the bars on recovery of 420 grams marijuana.
Pirwadhai police netted Hamid Butt for carrying 10 liter wine.
Morgah police arrested Raja Ahsan and recovered five liter wine.
Taxila police rounded up Naeem Shah and Jahangir Khan and seized 14 liter wine.
Kahuta police apprehended Khalid Mahmood for possessing 300 bottles of liquor.
Pirwadhai police nabbed Haris Raza for having one rifle 12 bore with three rounds.
Meanwhile, Pirwadhai and Naseerabad police registered cases against Manager of Abbasi Hotel and property owner and tenants namely Qamar ul Islam, Aqeel ur Rehman and Sultan Jaffar who allegedly violated renting rules.
