ISLAMABAD: United States Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson says forthcoming visit of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will open up a new chapter of Pak-US cooperation.
‘The United States is eagerly looking forward to Sharif’s visit which will further enhance the all round cooperation between the two countries,’ he said during a meeting with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.
The US Deputy National Security Advisor Caroline Atkinson also made a telephonic call to the Ishaq Dar and discussed prime minister’s upcoming visit. She appreciated Pakistan’s performance in various fields.
The finance minister said that Pakistan also wanted to further bolster bilateral trade and economic cooperation with the United States.
