PML-N demands withdrawal of hike in drug prices

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has demanded the government to withdraw the increase in prices of medicines.

PML-N chief spokesperson Marrium Aurangzeb said in a statement that Imran Khan had increased the prices of medicines by 50 per cent for the 12th time and he had also made life-saving medicines more expensive.

She said that anti-cancer drugs have already been taken away and now the price of insulin has been increased and people have been deprived of even basic facilities.

The PML-N leader said that Imran Khan has nothing to do with the people and he should sit in the room and inspect the electronic voting machines.

She demanded of the government to withdraw the increase in prices of life-saving and other drugs.
