LAHORE: The PML-Q leaders have advised the party leadership to take a decision soon in the current political situation.
According to sources, a consultative meeting of PML-Q was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervaiz Elahi in which senior leaders of the party participated while the current situation in Punjab and activities of Tarin Group were also reviewed in the meeting.

According to sources, the participants of the meeting took the position that no ally was happy with the performance of the federal government therefore the PML-Q would have to make its political decision soon.
According to sources, the participants of the meeting suggested to take decision soon so that it may not get late.
The sources said that Chaudhry Shujaat was also dissatisfied with the performance of the central government and he took a stand that we should not disappoint our workers and the party.
Pervaiz Elahi took the participants of the meeting into confidence over the contacts with other government allies while the meeting agreed to take decisions in consultation with other government allies.
On the occasion, Speaker Punjab Assembly Pervaiz Elahi said that he would take decisions considering the national interest and the political future after consultation.
The participants of the meeting expressed concern over non-fulfillment of promises in Punjab by the government.
The sources said that a joint press conference is likely to be held by the government allies in the next two to three days in which a big announcement could be made.
