PML-N violating rules to affect NA-122, ECP told

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Friday wrote a letter to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) was violating code of conduct through media advertisements to affect NA-122 by-poll.

PTI Spokesperson Shireen Mazari has stated in the letter written to Secretary ECP Babar Yaqoob that PML-N was continuously committing gross violations of code of conduct in a bid to affect NA-122 by-poll through TV advertisements, hence, ECP should take notice and action on this violation.

On the other hand, ECP has said time for election would end at 12:00 pm today then no public gatherings would be allowed after ending of the time.
