LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz on Monday asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to join hands with the government in its efforts for progress and prosperity of the country.

He said the PML-N candidate’s victory was a confirmation of the mandate given by the people to the party in general elections in 2013.

Addressing party workers in Lahore, he thanked the people for supporting PML-N and its leaders.

Hamza Shahbaz said, the PTI Chairman Imran Khan did not contest NA-122 by-polls due to fear of defeat.

In his address to the party workers, the PML-N winning candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said his victory is the hat-trick by a petty worker of PML-N against the PTI chief.

Ayaz Sadiq said he will feel his victory truly on the day when Imran Khan will join hands with the PML-N government for a better future of Pakistan.
