PML-N to win 2018 polls: Ameer Muqam

PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Prime Minister Engr Ameer Muqam Saturday said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would win next general election 2018 on the basis of its goverment’s performance.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had put the country on the course of development and progress, he said while talking to media persons here at the residence of PML-N leader and District Councilor Irshad Khan.

He said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan remained  sunk into a quagmire of protests, which was created by him to deceive and distract people. Since he failed to resolve the basic issues of the people so the 2017 would witness his downfall, he added.

He said both Imran Khan and Pakistan Peoples Party leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari were disturbed due to the popularity of PML-N and in a bid to counter the same they were comitting ‘political misadventures’.

He said the PTI had failed to fulfill its promises which it had made to the public during last general elections.—APP
