PML-N MNA Javed Latif booked over ‘controversial’ speech

LAHORE: A case has been registered against PML-N leader Mian Javed Latif with the Township police station over his alleged controversial speech.

Police had filed the an FIR on behalf of citizen Jamil Saleem.

The FIR says Javed Latif had attempted to malign the state institutions and spoke against the national sovereignty. He had sown hate seed among the PPP and PML-N workers.

The complainant further alleged that the MNA had criticised the state institutions to creat chaos in the country.

Javed Latif had spread fear and panic among the masses through his statement, he further said.

Sections 153, 120, 500 and 505 had been included in the case.
