RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) have dominated Rawalpindi final phase of local government elections on Saturday, according to unofficial results.
The ruling party secured 21 seats so far according to unofficial results. Independent candidates once again grabbed the second spot with eight seats.
Awami Muslim League (AML) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) only managed to get one seat.
AML leader Sheikh Rashid already admitted his defeat saying he was hoping to win at least 13 seats in NA-55.
