ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he would soon visit the south Balochistan and announce a comprehensive development package for the area.
According to a local TV, the prime minister said this while chairing a high-level meeting here on Thursday.
The meeting was also attended by COAS Gen Bajwa, DG ISI Lt Gen Faiz Hameed, Commander Southern Command Lt Gen Waseem Ashraf, federal ministers and special assistants.
The prime minister said that the people of south Balochistan were facing poverty and backwardness because the area had been ignored.
He hoped that the area would also develop like the other areas in the coming days.
The premier said that the Gwadar port would prove an important milestone in the country’s development.
