PM takes notice of Owais Shah abduction

KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the disappearance of Owais Shah, the son of the Chief Justice Sindh High Court (SHC) Sajjad Ali Shah and directed law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to ensure safe recovery of him.

The PM said no efforts should be sparred in the safe recovery of the Chief Justice’s son. He directed law enforcement and intelligence agencies to speed up efforts in this regard.

However, law-enforcement authorities have made no headway in the disappearance Owais Shah and are conducting search operations across the city. The car of Owais Shah was last seen in Manghopir area after the passage of more than 28 hours.

Advocate Owais Shah mysteriously went missing from near a superstore in Clifton on Monday. He was last seen at a supermarket in Clifton soon after Iftar, according to the registrar SHC.
