ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of Abid Sher Ali’s statements and asked him to refrain from issuing inappropriate statements, said a brief statement issued from the PM’s Media Wing on Wednesday.

It is noteworthy to mention here that State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Wednesday turned his guns towards Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, asking him to bring his father back to the country before pointing fingers at others.

The minister said the PPP chairman should first bring his father Asif Ali Zardari back before accusing others of wrongdoings. “Name of Benazir Bhutto also appeared in Panama Papers,” said Abid Sher Ali.

The firebrand PML-N leader from Faisalabad also took an exception to Bilawal Bhutto for calling names and insulting senior politicians, and himself went on to call the young Bhutto “auntie Zarina”.

Reacting to Abid Sher Ali’s rant, senior PPP leader and Maula Bukhsh Chandio asked the prime minister to take notice of the minister’s remarks.
