WASHINGTON: Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and US President Barack Obama will meet today (Thursday) where they would discuss the important matters.
The meeting would take place at White House where PM Nawaz would discuss Indian violation at Line of Control (LoC).
Dering PM’s four-day visit, Adviser on the foreign policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz presented the evidence of Indian involvement in Pakistan to US Secretary of State John Kerry.
Earlier, PM Nawaz in a meeting with Bob Corker in Washington, outlined his vision of peaceful neighbourhood and apprised him about his government’s outreach to the leadership of India and Afghanistan.
He shared his commitment to remain engaged with Afghan leadership towards promoting peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan. He also briefed about his recent peace initiatives towards India.
