Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif embarks a three-day official visit to Sri Lanka today (Monday) at the invitation of President Maithripala Sirisena.
During the visit, Nawaz Sharif and Maithripala Sirisena would discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations in various fields with focus on trade and economy.
A number of MOUs and agreements will also be signed during the visit.
The Prime Minister will also address a gathering of Ministers, Parliamentarians, senior officials, top business persons and members of the diplomatic corps in Colombo.
On the invitation of the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute of International Relations and Strategic Studies, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will also deliver a special lecture.
