ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is expected to visit Karachi on Monday (Dec 28) to reduce the tussle between federal and Sindh governments.
Sources said that the aim of the prime minister’s visit is to reduce the ongoing tension between federal and provincial governments. “The prime minister will hold meetings with Governor and Chief Minister Sindh.”
“The chief minister Sindh will be taken in confidence regarding Karachi operation and the reservations of CM Sindh pertaining to Karachi operation and Rangers’ policing powers will also be addressed,” sources added.
