ABBOTTABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday visited the under-construction Hazara Motorway and directed the National High Way officials to expedite the work so as to complete the motorway earlier than stipulated period.
PM Nawaz Sharif directed the officials to complete the project by December 2016 instead of March 2017. He was of the view that roads were the first step towards progress for any country and the net of motorways would bring economic revolution in Pakistan.
While addressing a ceremony in Chechian, he said that the government had allocated 112 billion rupees for the construction of roads and highways.
