BHISHKEK: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Thursday (today) arrived in Bishkek on an official visit to Kyrgyzstan after visiting Turkmenistan.
The PM counterpart in Kyrgyzstan along with his cabinet members received the premier on arrival.
The PM was given guard of honour and National anthems of the two countries were played on the occasion in the formal welcome ceremony held at the airport.
Nawaz Sharif would hold talks with Kyrgyz leadership on issues of cooperation in various fields. They will also consider ways and means to enhance cooperation in energy, trade and economy.
The PM delegation included Federal Ministers Khurram Dastagir, Khawaja Asif, Minister of State Jam Kamal, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Fatmi and Political Secretary to the PM Asif Karmnai.
