PM Nawaz meets UK FM Boris Johnson

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan considers UK a close and trust worthy friend.

PM Nawaz met British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad. The PM said Pakistan has taken steps to eliminate terrorism from the world while our country has also began Nation Action Plan to tackle extremism.

The PM said that both countries already have good economic relationship and they will further strengthen after UN PM Theresa May’s visit to Pakistan next year.

Talking about war against terrorism, the PM said Pakistan so far have sacrificed about 60,000 lives. Operation Zarb-e-Azb is successfully going on against terrorism and it is in last stages.

On this occasion, Boris Johnson said due to Nawaz Sharif’s economic policies, Pakistan’s economy is stabling day by day.

He said UK have important relations with Pakistan and we appreciate all the sacrifices made by Pakistan in war against terrorism.
