Prime Minister of Pakistan has chaired a high level meeting with heads of chambers of commerce, representatives of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association and exporter groups in Islamabad.
The meeting will consider various initiatives to improve quality and competitiveness of Pakistani exports. Various issues pertaining to taxes and energy crisis are also expected to be discussed in the meeting.
It is deliberating over measures to increase exports in the challenging environment of global economy.
The problems and demands of the industrial sector are also being discussed.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan and Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi are attending the meeting.
