QUETTA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday appointed Sanaullah Zehri as new Chief Minister Balochistan by complying with the Murree Declaration.
Zehri was nominated by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at a meeting in Islamabad after consultation with allies and in the light of the Murree declaration among the provincial coalition partners Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the ruling National Party (NP) and Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP).
The prime minister said Balochistan is close to his heart and expressed hope that Sanaullha Zehri will ensure peace and security in the province. He assured the federal government will extend full support to Zehri in developing Balochistan.
