Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has announced to reduce the petroleum price by Rs5 per litter from February 1st.
Talking to media in Lahore, he announced to reduce the petroleum prices. On the other hand, Nawaz urged Saudi Arabia and Iran to mutually remove their reservations.
He said it was Pakistan’s own initiative to defuse tension between Iran and Saudi.
To a question, the prime minister said matters between Pakistan and India were moving in the right direction. He regretted the Pathankot incident disturbed the negotiation process.
To another question, the Prime Minister said the terrorists are now carrying out isolated acts to make their presence felt. However, these will also be eliminated under an effective strategy.
He stressed the need for accelerating implementation of some clauses of National Action Plan.
About the Karachi operation, the Prime Minister said the city was witnessed marked improvement in law and order situation.
