NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the Indian side of Kartarpur Corridor next month.
Modi’s cabinet minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal said on Twitter: “On November 8, history will be created with PM Narendra Modi ji inaugurating the Kartarpur Corridor”.

However, Pakistan government has not announced so far date for the inauguration of its part of the corridor.
According to India’s Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, the project would be functional before the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, which will be celebrated on November 12 this year.
It is to mention here that the Kartarpur Corridor will be used as a visa-free border to reach Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib.
