BEIJING: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached China for a three-day visit. Border, trade defect, economic and bilateral issues of interest will be discussed in the visit. He received casual welcome in China.
Chinese President Xi Jinping hosted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his home town in Shaanxi province. Modi on Thursday reached the Chinese city of Xi’an on the first phase of his three-nation tour to China, Mongolia and South Korea. It was Modi’s first visit to China since he become the PM of India. It is very rare for Chinese leaders to meet with foreign guest outside Beijing. Indian Prime Minister said that he was expected to visit the famous historical city closely related to Xuanzang.
