ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday announced to provide electricity at 50 per cent discounted tariff to the small and medium industries from November 1.
Announcing an electricity relief package, the prime minister said that the small and medium industries would be provided power at the 50 per cent discount on the use of additional electricity as compared to their previous bills.
The electricity relief package will be applicable from Nov 1.
He added that, under the package, the small and medium industries, which were earlier paying Rs16 for a unity, would pay Rs8 per unit.
The prime minister said that all the industries would get 25 discount on the electricity tariff for three years.
The package will help the industrial development in the country, he added.
