PM inaugurates Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital in Swat

SWAT: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif announces series of development projects in Mingora city of Swat District today after inaugurating Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital in Swat on Friday afternoon.

PM Nawaz Sharif inaugurated newly constructed 110-bed hospital that was completed at a cost of Rs800 million. The hospital has an Out Patient Department (OPD), two operation theatres, male and female wards, fourteen dialysis units, CT scan and other necessary facilities.

While addressing a public meeting at Saidu Sharif, he said nation-wide network of motorways and roads is being developed, which will serve as foundation of development, Radio Pakistan reported.

He said foreign exchange reserves have reached the ever high level while the country has been put on the path of rapid development following strengthening national economy. He claimed that menace of loadshedding will be eradicated by 2018.

PM announced establishment of a women university, technical training institute in Swat and a campus of the university in Shangla. Moreover, Saidu Sharif Airport will be reactivated for both domestic and international flights.

Earlier, PM also inspected various sections and met patients in the hospital. He directed the authorities concerned to lay a separate power transmission line for the newly constructed and state-of-the-art ‘Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital’ here to ensure uninterrupted power to facilitate patients, Radio Pakistan reported.

This 110-bed hospital, located at Sangota in Manglawar on Swat-Kalam Road, is easily accessible to people of all the six districts of Malakand Division.

Advisor to the Prime Minister, Engr Amir Muqam, ex Governor KP Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, KP PML-N President Pir Sabir Shah, senior PML-N leader Siranjam Khan, Focal Person Punjab Hospital  Trust Javed Akram and other Government officials of Punjab and  KP also accompanied the Prime Minister.

Nawaz Sharif appreciated the quality services and facilities being offered to patients at the hospital. The PM talked to the patients and inquired after their health, besides praying for their speedy recovery.
