Imran Khan calls upon nation to protect freedom, democracy

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Wednesday urged the international community to “act now” against the ongoing deadly violence against Indian Muslims.

The prime minister in a message posted on Twitter said: “Today in India we are seeing the Nazi-inspired RSS ideology take over a nuclear-armed state of over a billion people. Whenever a racist ideology based on hatred takes over, it leads to bloodshed.”

Meanwhile, the unchecked violence continued on Wednesday as one more casualty occurred in Delhi’s Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital.

Finally, PM Modi broke his silence over the violence, appealing for maintaining peace in the capital.
