ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has prayed for the health of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif who is under treatment at the Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS).

The premier in his message posted on Twitter said: “Political differences notwithstanding, my sincere prayers are with Nawaz Sharif for his health. I have directed all concerned to ensure provision of the best possible health care and medical treatment to him.”

Earlier in the day, Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) Principal Dr Mahmood Ayyaz had said that the platelets count of former PM Nawaz Sharif increased from 7,000 to 20,000, showing a sign of improvement.
