Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) recovered Rs389 billion in 2019 and 2020.
In his tweet, the Prime Minister said that from 2008 to 2018, the NAB had recovered Rs104 billion in 10 years and it remained in the dark era of corrupt rulers for ten years.
He said that anti-corruption in Punjab recovered Rs206 billion in 27 months, anti-corruption had recovered only Rs3 billion in the 10 years of dark rule of corrupt rulers.
He said that these are clear indications of accountability that when the institutions are independent and the state institutions function without political interference, the nation benefits.
