ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday left for New York with the view to attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session.

The prime minister will also hold meetings with the heads of states of various countries during the week-long visit.

Besides, he will also participate in the UN summits to he held on climate change, universal health coverage, sustainable development and financing for development.

The prime minister is accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Advisor on Finance Dr Hafeez Shaikh and Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfikar Bukhari
